Surface-Enhanced Raman Spectroscopy

Perspectives

↗Go to Korean

Direct monitoring of material synthesis and/or separation on a membrane device could provide rich chemical information about the local reaction-transport environment leading to data acquisition and control of the process. We are interested in monitoring the local chemical environment with high-precision chemical sensors based on surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy, designed and manufactured via nanomanufacturing technologies. Also, in collaboration with artificial intelligence technology, the sensors could evolve into spectroscopic artificial noses and widen their applicability to such fields as environmental monitoring, pathogenic diagnosis, and biomolecular detection.
